Propane and cold weather !!!

I did it this time, I have to heat my mobile home with propane and I have never had propane heat. Well, last night in the middle of the night I ran out that stuff... and it got down to Zero (F)
I have been sitting here all day waiting for the man from Amerigas to come put fuel in my tank. He just left and it is not working. So Iguess I will be frozen solid before morning.
I think I would like to live somewhere warmer and soon.

I am thing about you Liz. LOL

Hugs and kisses~~~~

Leslie,

That's a tough situation to be in for sure, in this weather! You poor thing! I hope the man comes back today still. Did you tell them that it's an emergency and not only you may freeze and end up in the hospital or something, but your pipes may freeze and it will cost to fix them, not to mention the inconvenience of not having water.

I heat with propane as well, but filled a 500 gallon tank in October, and I also have a pot bellied wood stove as a back up source. I love my little wood stove, it keeps my house toasty warm, and since I live in the woods, I have a good source of wood.

Leslie, I do hope the man came back and check your heater to see why it's not working. I really feel for you!

Take good care and stay warm!

Hugs and blessings,

Renie

Oh no you don't need that!!! I know what you were getting at Leslie. It's better here weather wise as far as snow goes - we don't get any. Our winter's here can be cold but the lowest we get to is about 3 degrees Celsius but I'ld have to figure that out in US Degrees for you I think that's around perhaps 9 or 10deg F. But I would have to check.

A BIG WARM SUMMER HUG JUST FOR YOU!!!

Hugs and Love
Liz

Hope the heating is working soon! Is your cooking gas too? or can you turn the oven on for a little warmth?
Hey I'm back from holidays, stop by if your fingers are able to move and the computer isn't frozen too. Warm smiles are being sent your way!

Hope your warm heart staves off hypothermia until the gas man cometh... That has to be the title of a story...

Leslie, take a few 2 liter soda bottles and fill them with hot water...When you go to bed, put them down under the covers touching your feet....You will be surprised how warm you will get and they stay warm for a few hours too. Hope you get your propane working soon....

We don't have to worry too much about the cold down here in Texas.

Oh dear...I know how you feel. We have oil heat and have run out once or twice. Try to keep warm!
