Gift Idea

Here is a gift idea I found on "Sparkpeople" this morning.

Bath Salts:

6 cups of Epsom salts
2 cups of table salt
4 cups baking soda
Large jars with lids
Essential oils--- lavender, vanilla, peppermint just to mention a few. They might not be good all together. ;*)

Mix salts and baking soda together in a large bowl
add oils until the scent of salts reaches desired strength. Mix well with spoon, then put salts in jars. ( bonus, print custom labels for your fancy bath salts.)

Great idea, Mom! Last year, Kristine & I made a spice rub for meats, put them in little tins and printed labels. They were a big hit! We hadn't quite decided what we were going to do for this year, though, so this might be the way to go. Thanks for the idea!

Also, congratulations on your two new international dots in India & Canada!

Glad you like that idea. No, I can not believe I have 20 dots now...and 8 followers, too. You have a good week-end. I miss you and Lori.

This sounds like a fun little project. Although I am thinking the label-making part would be the most fun :)

Wow, then I'd have to go shopping to get epsolm salts. Upside - I could also make some for myself, m m m... as you can tell I'm in a strange mood this afternoon,I think I'd put mine into zip lock bags as I have to travel and jars would weigh too much. Then I could go crazy with the hot glue gun and make 'vintage montage' tags/toppers for the bags... M M M.. now you've really got me thinking Leslie.

Liz, you have got the right idea about the zip lock bags.
